Ø  Responsibility Summary:  Responsible for maintaining a series of DTS packages critical to the Swisher Reporting Portal.  Tuned the DTS packages that resulted in a decrease in execution time from over 12 hours to 6 hours.  Provided ad-hoc and new reports using stored procedures, user defined functions, and MS SSRS.  Designed, developed, and implemented a website used to track sales to the national accounts customers (large chains).  This included a new SQL Server Database and an ASP.NET website written in VB.NET.

Ø  Project Summary: Pep Boys had multiple ways to order parts and accessories for their stores and distribution centers, and were evaluating offering an online store.  They wanted to streamline their ordering process and provide a single source for parts for all areas.  Pep Boys also wanted to complete a Proof of Concept project with one store, one supplier, and one product line.

Ø  Responsibility Summary: Mainframe and web project using Broadreach’s standard life cycle. Responsible for the design of the PBY Direct project.  Project manager for the Proof of Concept project.  Developed project plan in MS Project.  Managed the vendor responsible for the web application. Assigned and managed tasks to the supplier and the customer departments involved in the Proof of Concept.  Provided status updates to the PBY Direct team through regular meetings and Pep Boy’s and Broadreach management through regular status reports.

Ø  Project Summary:  This project updated Blue Cross/Blue Shield (BC/BS) to a state-of-the-art managed care system.  It included many sub-projects across the whole company.

Ø  Responsibility Summary: Project coordinator for the infrastructure group.  Project involved approximately 20 sub-projects that migrated an insurance claims processing system from an IBM Mainframe to an IBM AS/400 system. Many of the sub-projects included client/server and web technology.  Worked with individual project managers to ensure consistency among all project plans.  Mentored those needing assistance in project management.  Provided single point of contact for the Infrastructure group with the Project Team.  Provided regular status updates to the Project Team and to the Infrastructure Group through regular status meetings.  Provided status updates to BC/BS and Broadreach management through regular status reports.

Ø  Responsibility Summary: The AMR project utilized mobile computers, the RAM Mobile Data wireless network, NetTech middleware, and Paradigm4 developed switching software to dispatch ambulances and collect patient information.  Managed project from development through implementation.  Modified and updated the Project Plan using MS Project.  Managed Paradigm4 and sub-contractor resources and assigned and managed tasks to AMR.  Provided regular project status updates via status reports and customer meetings.

Ø  Application Summary:  The Texas Data Link System (TDLS) is a network based Emissions Management Information System used by the State to manage, monitor, and report emissions data to the United States Environmental Protective Agency.  Over 2,000 emissions stations contact an MCI-housed Oracle database using a combination of 800, wide-area, and local area networks.

Ø  Project Summary:  MCI provided the network, data system, network & computer operations, technical help desk, customer service desk, and billing for the project.  This system allowed the State to meet the Federal Clean Air Act of 1990s requirements.

Ø  Responsibility Summary:  The TDLS was a client/server and web project using an Oracle 7 database, Sun servers, custom software, and the network MCI backbone.  Worked on all phases of the project including sales calls, proposal development, contract negotiations, and led the design, development, implementation, and operation.  Managed subcontractors and MCI resources in six different locations around the U.S. and Canada.  Developed the project plan as part of the proposal in MS Project.  Monitored and assigned project tasks.  Responsible for P & L and the 6-year, $36M contract.  Sold over $200,000 in add-on business to the State.  Developed and managed the change management process.  Gave presentations to industry groups, elected officials’ staff, lobbyists, and state agencies.  Gave regular status updates to the customer and MCI via status reports, meetings, and conference calls using MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel.

Ø  Responsibility Summary: Implementation manager for the CA Emissions project, transitioning the project from the development phase to the operations phase.  Technical project manager for MCI TimeClerk, a patented ANI-based Time and Attendance system for In-Home Health Care workers in the New York State Medicaid program.  The 800 calls are routed via neworkMCI to the Phoenix-based platform where a Telephone Application Controller (switch) and Telephone Application Processor (database) handle intelligent call information and interfaces with the healthcare provider premise-based system, billing, and customer functions.  Project manager for the Missouri Department of Revenue Audio Response Unit based Tax Filing system.  This system allowed seasonal businesses to file quarterly tax returns via MCI’s Enhanced Call Routing platform.  Led overall effort for communication between networkMCI and Missouri’s Amdahl host platform, “counter” database development, and scripting for the ReadyFile service.

Ø  Project Summary: The City of Dallas outsourced critical pieces of their Parking Ticket Processing to EDS.  EDS provided an IBM mainframe based system, PC-based imaging, hand-held computers, lockbox processing, customer service, cashiering, and all forms.

Ø  Responsibility Summary:  Politically sensitive project in EDS’ hometown.  Took over this project in the development phase to improve relations between EDS and the City.  Addressed the City’s concerns by implementing processes and procedures developed in cooperation with and approved by the City.  Developed the Project Plan in MS Word for the proposal.  Enhanced and updated the project plan after taking over the project.  Provided ad-hoc reporting for the city using MS Access.  Hired and managed professional and clerical resources.  Assigned and monitored tasks to sub-contractors and internal EDS departments.  Responsible for P & L and the 5-year, $2.5M contract.  Developed and managed change management process.  Provided regular status updates to the City and EDS management through meetings and status reports.

Ø  Project Summary: EDS integrated leading edge technology with an IBM mainframe-based application to create the Parking Enforcement Management System, an award winning system that helped Chicago increase their collection rate from 10% to 70%.

Ø  Responsibility Summary: Led a team of 6 - 10 systems and operations professionals, including business analysts, computer operators, and programmers.  Responsible for performance reviews and salary administration.  Supervised the implementation of several systems, including the conversion of 22 million backlog tickets worth over $400M.  Supervised the design, development, and implementation of enhancements to the Chicago Parking Enforcement Management System.  Developed several project plans for sub-projects and proposals.  Gave presentations to City Personnel and EDS management on various topics and project status.  Head writer for the Toronto, Ontario, Canada Parking Proposal, which was awarded to EDS.
